Angling Tales of Mystery ...
(Not yet rated)

A selection of short stories with a twist in the tale, by Keith Jenkins and Friends

As the title suggests, here are a couple of dozen stories which are loosely connected by a fishing thread, but each with a bit of twist. From things that go bump in the night, to how carp fishing may look in the future; from the perfect lake for just you alone, to the hunt for the perfect quarry, each story may not be quite as it seems.
Some will amuse you, some will surprise you and some will outright scare the **** out of you! There’s something here for everyone.
It may sound obvious, but what would you do if you found the magic lantern, and were granted Three Wishes? The answer may surprise you.
Wouldn’t it be great to have The Perfect Day, when every fish was wonderful and every cast was perfect, but would there be a price to pay at the end of the day?
That little blob of blue on the Ordnance Survey map could just be the perfect carp pool, but what happens When the Bell Tolls?
What if The One That Got Away wasn’t always the fish? And if you really did find the perfect bait, would it be Just too Good?

These and many other questions are posed by Keith Jenkins and his fellow authors, but the answers may not be exactly what you were expecting.
So there you go; whether in the bivvy, on the beach or in an armchair, here’s an ideal book to while away a few hours. Oh, and if you read these tales by a lake at night, don’t worry; that noise behind you is probably just a mouse or a hedgehog.

Probably.
